Their Stories. Their Adventures.
Every Adventurer has a story worth sharing. These are the moments, memories, and experiences that made their adventures unforgettable.
Meet Adam
At 11 years old, Adam has spent more time in hospitals than most kids ever should. Living with an autoimmune disease that attacks his kidneys has meant treatments, medications, and plenty of difficult days. But it has never changed the kind, giving heart that makes Adam who he is. When given the chance to dream up an adventure of his own, his first thought was still of others, helping provide clean water to communities in need, and giving back to his school.
After a little convincing, Adam finally landed on something just for him: fishing for salmon in Alaska.
Three Days on the Water. A Lifetime of Stories.
The Adventure
From his first-ever flight to exploring Sitka and fishing the Alaskan waters, the week was full of firsts. And Adam made the most of every one.
On his first day of fishing alone, he reeled in six coho salmon and a massive 67-inch halibut, followed by even more unforgettable catches, laughs, and stories in the days that followed.
“That day was probably the best day he’s ever had in his whole life.”
-Toni, Adam’s Mom
More Than an Adventure
The fish, mountains, and ocean made for an incredible adventure. But the moments that mattered most were much simpler. Watching Adam relax, open up, laugh, and become more himself with each passing day.
For a little while, life wasn't about hospitals or what came next.
It was about being a kid.
