Our Story

About Anchor Adventures

Anchor Adventures was born from a vision placed on the heart of our founder, Ken Paul, more than 30 years ago; to give back to the community through meaningful, life-changing adventures for individuals and families facing cancer, neurodivergent disorders, and other unimaginable life challenges.

This mission is deeply personal. Ken’s wife, Deb, is a two-time cancer survivor, and his son, Kody, is autistic. Through decades of faith, prayer, and seeking God’s timing, that vision has now come to life.

Rooted in a love for Christ, the outdoors, and human connection, Anchor Adventures exists to serve “the least of these” or those who are often overlooked. Many of the individuals we hope to serve have aged out of traditional programs, do not meet eligibility requirements, or simply have not been reached.

We believe they deserve more than a single moment of joy. They deserve hope, healing, and lasting connection.

Each adventure is not the end goal; it is just the beginning. Through the help of our Dream Managers, we hope to intentionally build relationships before and after the adventure, connecting individuals and families with local churches, support groups, and communities that will continue to walk alongside them long after the adventure is over.

Our mission is to create Christ-centered, life-changing experiences that restore hope, strengthen faith, and ensure no one feels forgotten.
